About the Program

A Space Designed for Growth

O Faro — The Lighthouse — is an after-school educational center founded and run by Give To Others, serving children, adolescents, and adults in the Dominican Republic.

The name itself speaks to the mission: like a lighthouse guiding ships through darkness, O Faro guides young people toward brighter futures, offering direction when the path ahead feels uncertain.

O Faro provides education, encouragement, and personal development opportunities to members of the local community. Approximately 30% of the students are Haitian immigrants, and about 45% of the participating children rely on the center as their primary source of education.
